Title: It's a New Season
Scripture: Deuteronomy 1:6-8
This week, Reverend Faison reminded us that God does not intend for His people to remain in places that no longer serve their growth. In Deuteronomy 1:6–8, the Lord tells Israel that they have stayed long enough at the mountain. It is a loving call to rise, move, and step into the land He has prepared. That same invitation reaches us today. God sees where we’ve settled, where we’ve grown weary, and where we’ve become comfortable. Yet His grace urges us forward into a new season shaped by His promise.
Reverend Faison helped us see that movement in faith is not about rushing ahead but responding to God’s direction. When He says it is time to go, He is also saying He has already gone before us. A new season may feel unfamiliar, but it is never unaccompanied. The God who calls us forward is the God who equips us, strengthens us, and walks with us into every next step.

Meet our Senior Pastor
Reverend Benny L. Everett III, MDiv., B.S., is the esteemed pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bunche Park in Miami Gardens, Florida. A native of Pahokee, Florida, he is married to Dr. DeAnna Williams-Everett, and they have six children.
Reverend Everett began preaching at the age of eighteen and has been guided by influential mentors throughout his journey. Before his current role, he served as Senior Pastor at various churches in Florida and South Carolina.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from South Carolina State University, and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University.
Reverend Everett's achievements include serving as a former Commissioner for the City of Pahokee and founding the Glades Area NAACP Youth/College Division. He is also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Despite his many accolades, his most incredible honor is his call to ministry. Reverend Everett passionately preaches and teaches the Word of God, aiming to be a prophetic problem solver and share the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ.
