Staying Safe in Hot Weather
We have been experiencing record heat and that trend is expected to continue!
When it’s too hot, stay indoors! Know these signs of overheating – dizziness, cramps, swelling of feet and ankles and nausea. Drink lots of water, wear hats and sunscreen if you have to be out to prevent overheating!
Seeds of Love Ministry
First Baptist Church of Bunche Park is excited to
launch of our new Seeds of Love Ministry!
Our mission is to cultivate more than just a garden—we’re cultivating faith, fellowship, and service. Through this ministry, we will create a community garden that beautifies our church grounds while growing fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers to bless our church family and our surrounding community.
Whether you have a green thumb or have never planted a seed before, there’s a place for you! We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience levels to help plant, build, water, maintain, and watch this ministry grow.
If you would like to volunteer, donate supplies, or simply learn more about the Seeds of Love Ministry, please see Nicole Turner, Rev. Faison, or Sis. Faison.
Together, let’s plant seeds of faith, grow in love, and harvest hope for our community.
“Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy.” — Psalm 126:5
Sick and Shut In
Let us continue to pray for our sick, shut in and bereaved.
