Bible Study & Prayer Meeting

Join us for Bible Study and Prayer Meeting weekly.

Bible Study is held on Wednesday at 7:00 pm on Zoom.

Prayer Meeting is held on Thursday at 6:00 pm.

Change in Office Hours

Effective June 1st, the new hours for the Church Secretary will be  1 pm-4 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

 

76th Church Anniversary

Our Theme  “Still Standing and Still Serving-76 years of Worship, Witness and Work"

1 Corinthians 15:58;      Dates: June 10th , 11th,  13th , & 14th 

Color – Shades of Purple

The “Legacy of Faith Banquet- Honoring Our Seasoned Saints” will be held on June 13th at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. We will be honoring our members age 90 and above. Tickets $30.00 adults, $15 youth 4 - 12yrs, 3 yrs and under free.

Tickets can be purchased in the Fellowship Hall following service.

Anniversary envelopes are available in the foyer. All funds should be submitted to the finance office.   

Let’s celebrate another year of Standing, Serving, Witness, Work and Worship. Together we can achieve much more!

Congress of Christian Education

We are looking for delegates to attend and represent our Church at the Congress of Christian Education, July 20–23, 2026, in Miami, Florida. There will be online and in-person classes. 

Delegates are also needed for our State Congress of Christian Education, which will be held July 27 – 30, 2026, in West Palm Beach, Florida

Classes are available for all ages. For information, contact Rev Everett,  Rev Faison, Sister McCaskill, or Sister Nowell.

Vacation Bible School

As you plan for summer, hold the date for a special edition of Vacation Bible School – Hooked and Reeled In to Serve God! VBS is June 22-26 – Registration is open!

Memorial Day

Let us honor and remember those who served in the military and made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. On Monday, May 25, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., there is a National Moment of Remembrance: Please pause for a unified moment of silence to reflect on the sacrifices of fallen service members. All gave some, some gave all.

Bereavement

Funeral Services will be held on May 30th at 11 am at United Missionary Baptist Church in Pahokee, FL. 

J Brown Funeral & Cremation Services in Clewiston, FL is in charge.

The Church has secured a chartered bus for members who desire to attend services with a limit of 56.

Please place your name on the sign-up sheet. Due to limited seating, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis. The Bus will depart from First Baptist on Saturday morning at 8:30 am & return approximately. 5:30 pm

Let us continue to pray for our sick, shut-in, and bereaved.
