Seeds of Love Ministry: Planted in Faith, Growing in Community

Today marks a beautiful new beginning for our church family. We are grateful to announce the official launch of the Seeds of Love Ministry and the groundbreaking of our First Baptist Church of Bunche Park Church Garden — a space we pray will become a living expression of faith, fellowship, service, and hope.

For many months, God has been stirring a vision within our congregation: a place where hands can work together, hearts can grow together, and our community can gather around something life‑giving and meaningful. This morning, that vision begins to take root.

A Ministry Rooted in Purpose
The Seeds of Love Ministry was created to reflect three core truths:

Planted in Faith — We trust God to bring growth in every season.
Grown in Love — We serve one another with compassion and unity.
Shared in Hope — We extend God’s goodness beyond our walls and into our community.

This garden will be more than soil and seeds. It will be a place where relationships deepen, where families serve together, where children learn, and where our church continues to shine as a beacon of hope in Bunche Park.

Groundbreaking Day: A First Step Toward Something Beautiful
This morning at 6:00 a.m., our church family gathered to prepare the ground for what we believe will become a blessing for years to come. Whether seasoned gardeners or first‑time volunteers, everyone came with willing hearts — ready to work, ready to serve, and ready to plant seeds of faith.

A second workday will take place on Saturday, August 29 at 6:00 a.m., and all are welcome to join us again as we continue building this space together.

As we begin this ministry, we hold onto this promise: God honors every seed sown in faith. What we plant today will bear fruit in ways we cannot yet see — in lives touched, in hearts encouraged, and in a community strengthened by love.
