Title: Let's See What's On Heaven's Mind!
Scripture: 1 Samuel 16: 10-13
There are moments in our lives when we wonder what God sees in us—what He’s shaping, preparing, or calling forth. This week’s message invited us to slow down and listen for what’s on Heaven’s mind. In the anointing of David, we’re reminded that God’s vision reaches far beyond what others notice. He sees the heart, the potential, and the purpose He planted long before we recognized it ourselves.
As we walk through our own seasons of uncertainty or transition, God is still speaking. He is still choosing, still calling, still pouring out fresh oil on those who feel overlooked or underestimated. When Heaven has something in mind for you, no earthly barrier can stand in the way.

Meet our Senior Pastor
Reverend Benny L. Everett III, MDiv., B.S., is the esteemed pastor of the First Baptist Church of Bunche Park in Miami Gardens, Florida. A native of Pahokee, Florida, he is married to Dr. DeAnna Williams-Everett, and they have six children.
Reverend Everett began preaching at the age of eighteen and has been guided by influential mentors throughout his journey. Before his current role, he served as Senior Pastor at various churches in Florida and South Carolina.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management from Palm Beach Atlantic University, a Master’s degree in School Counseling from South Carolina State University, and a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University. He is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Educational Leadership at Florida Atlantic University.
Reverend Everett's achievements include serving as a former Commissioner for the City of Pahokee and founding the Glades Area NAACP Youth/College Division. He is also a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Despite his many accolades, his most incredible honor is his call to ministry. Reverend Everett passionately preaches and teaches the Word of God, aiming to be a prophetic problem solver and share the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ.
