Title: Divided No More
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:10-18 (NIV)
The message this week reminded us that Christ calls His people into a unity that is deeper than preference, personality, or perspective. Paul’s words to the church in Corinth speak clearly to us today: division weakens the witness of God’s people, but unity in Christ strengthens the body and reveals His power at work among us. When we fix our eyes on Jesus rather than on the differences that pull us apart, we discover a shared foundation that cannot be shaken.
This passage also reminds us that the power of the gospel does not rest in human wisdom or eloquence, but in the saving work of Christ alone. When we cling to the cross, we find the strength to lay down pride, reconcile with one another, and walk in the kind of love that reflects God’s heart. Unity is not something we create by effort—it is something we protect by surrendering to Christ’s leadership in our lives.
